Information Security Policy

Health Safety and Environmental Manual
The practical application of the DIAMOND GLOBAL ENGINEERING INVESTMENT LIMITED policy that:
All DIAMOND GLOBAL ENGINEERING INVESTMENT LIMITED employees will be trained to recognize as a line management responsibility, the implication to themselves and others for all the potential safety and health hazard in their work and affect that their activities may have on the environment.
Any activities found to be unhealthy, unsafe, unsecured or environmentally unaccepted will not be commenced, or will be stopped and not recommenced, until accepted solution has been found.
Cashes management is an integral part of DIAMOND GLOBAL ENGINEERING INVESTMENT LIMITED. Operation and all function levels will be assessed on, and held accountable for cashes target which will be set as part of any project plan.
The cashes standards and requirement, as written within this policy, are mandatory on all subcontractors working for or on behalf of DIAMOND GLOBAL ENGINEERING INVESTMENT LIMITED. The company will advise its subcontractors on how to meet these standards and requirements.
In carrying out her activities, DIAMOND GLOBAL ENGINEERING INVESTMENT LIMITED. Will exhaust all reasonable avenues to assist the host communities by way of employment identifying with their community programmes.
DIAMOND GLOBAL ENGINEERING INVESTMENT LIMITED has formulated its CASHES policy on Nigerian law and standard laid down by Degree and will carry out regular reviews to ensure compliance with all new laws and regulations.
Contingency plans will be made to ensure swift and proper action to limit the results of incidents that may nevertheless occur.
Organizational Responsibility/Policy Implementation
a. Management’s Role: The responsibility for ensuring implementation of the policy for health, safety, environment and security rest directly upon the shoulders of the management of DIAMOND GLOBAL ENGINEERING INVESTMENT LIMITED. Our management is poised to shoulder its responsibility. Responsibilities will be assigned to supervisor and the necessary backing in terms of funds and management will give authority. Safety officers will also be appointed and will be present at every work site. The safety officer is to advise and ensure that all work activities are conducted in a safe manner.
In addition to the above, management will carry out the following measures to ensure effective implementation of the company’s CASHES policy.
Allocate sufficient resources to provide and maintain conditions and places of work that are as far as is reasonably practicably safe and healthy.
b. Conduct unsafe act audit on site daily.
c. Attend client’s safety meeting and implement all related action points as they affect company operations
d. Ensure that right tools are being used for the job.
e. All equipment in services must be in good working condition.
f. Hold CASHES meeting with the work force every work force every two weeks and the minutes shall be properly documented and send copies to the client’s engineer in charge of the project being executed.
g. Display appropriate safety notice and sign boards in the work site.
h. Ensures that functional First Aid Box is on site and all employees made to obtain conditions noted.
i. Investigate any accident that may occur at work site.
j. Compile monthly safety accident statistics.
